The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) has admitted that it overcharged around 270,000 learner drivers who have taken their tests on Saturdays since November 2005.The refund of £10.50 is being made after it was discovered the regulations that increased fees for Saturday tests was incorrectly worded. These have now been redrafted and Saturday tests booked from the 7 July onwards will be charged at the intended rate of £67.00 - £10.50 more than tests taken during office hours. The DSA is trying to contact all those effected by the mistakes, but those who think they are entitled to a research can call the Agency direct on 0191 201 4098.
