It's not often you get the chance to drive a cartoon car. After all, most of them are nothing more than drawings.But not so the Pink Panther's wheels. This lurid pink contraption, based on an Oldsmobile Toronado, really exists and it could be yours.It was built by movie-vehicle legend Jay Ohrberg – the man behind many Batmobiles, the Ghostbusters car and much more – and is up for sale at Coys' auction at Blenheim Palace on 14 July. The 23-feet-long limo is expected to fetch between £75,000 and £90,000. It's more than we can afford, so if you happen to buy it, we'd love to have a go.In the meantime, we're going to carry on dreaming about getting a ride in Danger Mouse's flying roadster, or pretty much any of the vehicles in the Wacky Races.Sadly Ohrberg hasn't made a real-life version of Professor Pat Pending's Convert-a-Car or the Slag Brothers' Bouldermobile, but we're sure he'll make one if you've got the cash.
