This year's MotorExpo showed new cars from British brands including the Evoque and Jag XF 2.2-diesel

This week has seen the return of the London MotorExpo, the UK’s “biggest free-to-visit motoring event” in the UK, according to the organisers.

Located in the heart of the city – Canary Wharf – the week-long event is aimed at city workers too busy to take time out to visit dealerships to purchase their new car. Instead, dealerships come to them to raise brand awareness.

This year’s MotorExpo is host to new cars from British brands, including Jaguar’s all-new Jaguar XF 2.2-litre diesel model, as well as the new Jaguar XFR and £97,000, 186mph XKR-S.

Also on show, the Range Rover Evoque in three and five-door variants, and Bentley’s heavily revised Continental GT. Saab too revealed its first proper crossover vehicle, the 9-4X.

MotorExpo CEO Graeme Carver said, “This summer’s event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. The roster is brimming with leading mainstream and prestige car manufacturers and the promise of being able to get up close to the latest models is a major draw.”Alex Kersten
