It’s not often that a car maker steals the show with a sequel. But VW was in danger of doing just that here at Tokyo with the Space Up!
It’s a four-door version of the clever city car concept we saw in Frankfurt last month. It’s also further proof, if it were needed, that VW is going to press the button on a whole family of these rear-engined cars.
And we're not finished yet, as there's another Up! concept at next month’s LA show. The hot ticket is that it will be an SUV-style crossover.
The real thing comes in 2010. I can't wait.
