The Toyota X was first seen at last year’s Tokyo motor show and is only destined from dealerships in Japan and other parts of Asia and is unlikely to ever be sold in Europe or the US.

Power for the Auto Salon model comes from a 3.6-litre V6 engine producing 314bhp and 280lb ft. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox.

G Sports styling changes include a new front bumper, grille and bonnet and new LED daytime running lights. At the rear it gets a new rear bumper with integrated spoiler, a four-pipe exhaust system and a new rear spoiler.

The X G Sports also gets 20-inch alloy wheels and specially developed Yokohama Advan Sport.

The G Sports range of accessories will be sold in Japanese Toyota dealerships from later this year. Other G Sports models revealed at Auto Salon include the Prius G Sports and FT-86 G Sports concept.
