Prototype MG for sale

A prototype MG X-Power SV is being offered for sale at auction.
Production of the SV came to a premature end following the collapse of MG Rover in 2005 and just 64 cars were originally produced.

The car’s rights were acquired last year by William Riley, a former member of the Riley Motor dynasty, and he is continuing to develop the MG X-Power SV.
The 5.0-litre, 380bhp model offered for sale by Barons is the Lightweight model, intended for motorsport and track day use.
The car was registered as new last month, and it has a guide price of £26,000-£30,000, considerably less than the usual list price of around £70,000.
