This is the new Nissan 370Z Nismo.

It is the most powerful 370Z in the range and is only available in coupe form. Power comes from the same 3.7-litre V6 as the standard car, which has been tuned to 345bhp and 276lb ft.

The power upgrades have been achieved by remapping the ECU and a freer-flowing exhaust, and the engine is mated to a six-speed manual ‘box.

Its top speed has been limited to 155mph, while it can get from 0-62mph in a claimed 5.1secs.

Styling changes include new bumpers, a bigger wing and larger tyres, while inside it gets a thinly-padded steering wheel, different pedals and manually adjustable sports seats.

The car is currently on sale in the US for the equivalent of around £35,000, but at present Nissan has no plans to bring it to the UK.
