Cooper Works kit is on the way

Ignore web speculation that this red Mini Cooper S is the new 'Works' model - but its bodykit and rear wing will soon be available anyway.
Produced by John Cooper Works, the new kit's options list will include a carbon fibre-effect rear wing and carbon fibre finish on the rear hatch, bonnet scoop and door mirrors. The line-up also features a diffuser-style rear bumper and lower side skirts.
As for the S Works, sources indicate that tuning the new 1.6-litre turbocharged engine is proving more difficult than the modifications to the original car. The more complicated procedure should mean that we don't see a full John Cooper Works edition until early 2008.
You won't have to wait that long for the bits, though - they go on sale on November 18.
