Lotus has released prices for the forthcoming Europa S coupé. The two-door GT will cost from £32,995, with first UK deliveries expected in late September.
The Europa S uses an adapted version of the Elise’s extruded and bonded aluminium chassis, with composite body panels, but offers more room for both occupants and luggage. Full leather trim, satellite navigation and driver and passenger airbags will be standard.
Power comes from a mid-mounted 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, providing 197bhp and 200lb ft, shooting the flyweight 995kg Europa to 60mph in 5.6sec, and 100mph in 13.6sec.
