Lambo composite tech honoured

Lamborghini's composites department will be honoured at the leading global forum on composite material development.
Maurizio Reggiani, the Italian supercar maker's director of research and development will also give the key note speech at the 2010 JEC Composites Show on 14 April.

Lamborghini has recentlystepped up its carbon composite activities by founding a research laboratory in Seattle. The facility is funded in conjunction with the University of Washington and the Boeing Corporation.
Lamborghini has targetted the innovative use of lightweight materials is a core element of its CO2 emission reduction strategy.
It has pledged to reduce its product CO2 emissions by 35 per cent by 2015.
