Kia's answer to the Nissan Qashqai will be previewed in three concept cars at the Geneva show this March.

It's claimed that the trio of concepts 'will introduce a world of possibilities for customising and personalisation to future Kia customers' - particularly those wanting a spacious, high-riding hatchback with SUV styling, as the Kia Soul will be.

The production car is already in the testing phase, and is expected to keep much of the look of the concept seen at the 2006 Detroit show.

The Soul is a key model in the re-branding currently going on at Kia, with the firm hoping that it will attract a new, younger audience.

If the Geneva concepts are anything to go by, the ability to personalise your Kia Soul will be a big part of its attraction, but we'll have to wait until the production car's debut at the Paris show later this year to find out.
