780bhp Fiesta wins the X Games

Ford has won the X Games Rally at its first attempt with its 780bhp Fiesta.

Former Indianapolis 500 winner Kenny Brack caused a huge upset with his victory, his first ever appearance at the X Games, which ended the domination of the Subaru Imprezas at the event in California.

Brack defeated Subaru’s Travis Pastrana in the final after Pastrana crashed out on lap two.

Despite his victory, Brack isn’t planning a return next year. “It’s a one off,” he said. “I'm not looking to get into this full time again. I'm 43 years old. It's a lot easier standing on the sidelines telling someone how to do it than to do it yourself.”
