Ferrari has ordered 200 Fiat 500s to act as courtesy cars for its UK dealerships, 60 of which will be unique, Ferrari-spec special editions.
Based on the 100bhp 1.4-litre Fiat 500 Sport, the special editions will feature traditional red Ferrari paintwork and an exhaust note “tuned to be in keeping with the Ferrari theme”.
Climate control, electric sunroof, leather interior and a numbered plate on the dash are also standard.
Elena Bernardelli, marketing director for Fiat Group Automobiles UK, said, “The link between Fiat and Ferrari is perfect here, and the initiative shows how the 500 can become a platform for exclusive limited editions.”
