GM will unveil its Chevrolet Orlando concept at the Paris motor show, the car maker announced today.

Based on the Delta platform that underpins the new Cruze, the compact seven-seater crossover is powered by a two-litre four-cylinder diesel engine and bears stark similarities to the Chevy Tacuma that was caught testing recently. It combines both SUV and MPV design themes.

The overall design is bolder than any of the current Chevrolets out there and the wrap-around headlights and new two-tier grille are key to this.

From the picture, the interior looks stylish and modern and clearly borrows elements seen in other European GM products such as the Vauxhall Insignia.
