It’s a car we’ve been talking about for what seems like forever; BMW’s 1-series coupe, the compact, agile two-door coupe that promises to succeed the original E30 M3 in the affections of thousands of enthusiasts across the UK, is a car that’s got the Autocar office well and truly revved up.
