Audi reveals TT RS Roadster

A roadster version of the Audi TT RS will be available alongside the coupe when it goes on sale in the UK tomorrow.
It will be powered by the same 335bhp 2.5 litre five-pot engine as the TT RS coupe, and will get to 62mph in a claimed 4.7sec.
Both cars share similar specifications, so the roadster will get the coupe’s four-wheel-drive quattro system, cross-drilled brakes and a suspension system upgraded over the standard TT.
The roadster’s soft-top roof will retract in 12sec at speeds of up to 19mph. It also gets a rear wind deflector.
It will be on show for the first time at this year’s Leipzig motor show, which starts on Saturday.
Prices will start from £1900 more than the £42,980 coupe.
