This is Aston Martin’s £1.2 million One-77 supercar, fully revealed for the first time in leaked images of the car that was partially displayed at the Paris Motor Show.
This is not the production Aston One-77, which is not due to be seen until 2009, but a styling model built to show to potential customers. It does not have an interior or any mechanical components.
The images show the extreme nature of the One-77’s styling, with the slashed-look air intakes in the front wing and a big grille, with clear influences drawn from classic Astons.
At the rear is a big race car diffuser and slender rear lights, with an unusual strip connecting each side.
The One-77 is due to go on sale next year, although Aston has said all 77 planned for production are already sold. It is powered by Aston’s V12 engine with 700bhp and will weigh around 1500kg, thanks to a carbonfibre frame covered with aluminium panels.
