New Infiniti G revealed 'in-house'

The next-generation of Infiniti’s G series model has been shown to the firm’s management, according to sources.
The car is said to feature a “dramatic” use of LED strip lights at its front end, our insiders have told us.
A near production-ready concept could be revealed at the 2011 Tokyo motor show or 2012 Detroit motor show, ahead of its 2012 production date.

Infiniti is also set to preview its small FWD model with a concept at the Geneva motor show. The style-led three-door is likely to be based on the Mercedes A-class platform as part of a tie-up between Daimler and the Renault-Nissan alliance.
The firm has also confirmed plans to launch a stylish electric hatchback based on the Nissan Leaf.
