Well the conversion works out at just over £18K for the base model which I guess comes with a V6. Plus, this does exlude sales taxes which are added after the retail price in the US.

I think up to about £35K -£40K would be about right for the top of the range SS Model.

At £40K I would have to think about it for a while, but at £35K. If I had that much to spend on a sports car, it would be definately headed to the local chevy garage. Im thinkin pick one up maybe 1-2 years old..... :-p

Its not a 300bhp car for 18,000GBP as such.

My guess is it will be 32,000GBP (ballpark) if any muppet orders one for the UK.

And at that price you have got to say, it really does not make sense.

If you want to stand out from the crowd this much, then go shopping naked with a vegetable in your bottom, its much less embarrassing.

I agree with Peter Cavellini, that if there is no right hooker then there is no point in bringing the car to Britain especially if the price is going to be significantly more expensive than in the States even if it will still offer VFM.
