The parts needed to fix the estimated 1.8 million faulty accelerator pedals on Toyotas in Europe will be available from next week, the company has announced.
The recall will affect the Auris, Avensis, Aygo, Corolla, iQ, RAV4, Verso and Yaris models built between February 2005 and this month.

Customers who own affected cars will be contacted by Toyota.
Toyota added that it is not aware of any accidents in Europe where an accelerator pedal sticks in a partial open throttle position or returns slowly to the idle position.
