Welcome to autocar.co.uk's week in pictures, where we look back at the best bits from the site this week.
There has been lots of exciting new metal this week, not least the first drives of the Ferrari 458 Italia and Mercedes SLS AMG. Keeping with the performance car theme, we also had drives of the VW Scirocco R and upgraded Lexus IS-F.

BMW's M division has been hard at work this week, as they showed off the hardcore M3 GTS for the first time. We also brought you the scoop on the faster (and greener) next-generation BMW M5.
Porsche showed off its new Boxster flagship, which revived the iconic Spyder name in the process. Ferrari also spilled the beans to us on its new 4x4 hybrid system, which is set to feature in its future GT models.
It was all change at Chrysler under Fiat's ownership as it announced the brand would be axed in Europe. General Motors also announced it would be keeping Opel/Vauxhall and not selling it to Magna as had been widely tipped.
The week will live long in the memory for the crisis Formula One found itself in. First Toyota pulled out of the sport, but Renault's future is still up in the air for the time being.
