Rubens Barrichello scored his first win of the season in the European Grand Prix in Valencia, winning his first race for Brawn GP and taking his first win for five years.
The Brazilian had look set to trail pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) home, but pounced when the world champion's team fumbled his final tyre stop.

The result was also good news in the championship for Brawn, which extended its advantage over Red Bull, which had a disasterous race when Sebastian Vettel stopped with an engine related problem and Mark Webber finished outside the points.
That was also great news for a lacklustre Jenson Button (Brawn), who extended his championship lead by two points despite finishing just seventh.
