Win a trip to Japan with Honda

Honda is offering a competition winner exclusive access to the final stages of development of its upcoming Civic Type R Mugen Concept.
The winner will be flown to Japan and taken to the car’s high-speed shakedown at the Honda Twin-Ring Motegi circuit.

They will get to ride in the car accompanied by Mugen test drivers and meet the engineers who have developed the car. A tour of the Mugen factory and a visit to the Honda Collection Hall Museum are also included in the prize.
Hiro Toyoda, vice-president of Mugen Euro, said, “In standard trim, the Civic Type R is a thrilling machine to drive. It is a fantastic base model from which we hope to develop one of the quickest point-to-point front-wheel-drive road cars in the country.”
The Honda Civic Type R Mugen is equipped with a tuned version of Honda’s 2.0-litre i-VTEC engine. It also gets an upgraded exhaust, brakes and suspension, and a new aerodynamic package and a rear boot spoiler.
