Le Mans display for Salon Prive

A Le Mans line-up that will include the 1969 ‘Gulf’ Porsche 917 has been announced for London’s Salon Prive show.
The category brings together a number of important Le Mans contenders from the last 50 years. Joining the 917 will be a Frazer Nash Le Mans Coupe, Porsche 956, Ferrari 512 BB LM, Jaguar XJR-9/12 and McLaren F1 GTR, among others.

“Le Mans holds a very special place in motorsport history and the cars that have starred there over the years are some of the finest purpose-built racing machines ever created”, said David Bagley of Salon Prive.
The 917 on show is the car that featured in Steve McQueens’s racing movie ‘Le Mans’. The McLaren GTR race version on display is commonly known as “The Harrods Car” and is one of only five original race cars built by the factory in 1995.
The Salon Prive, which run’s from 22-25 July at London’s Hurlingham Club, will also have the Aston-Martin One-77, Lotus Evora, Morgan Aero SuperSports and Maybach Zeppelin.
Tickets for the Salon Prive cost £125 for a one-day pass.
