Jaguar will run a special edition XKR at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Jaguar XKR has 523bhp over the standard car's 503bhp, 516lb ft of torque and a louder exhaust.

It will be painted in a distinct lime green colour, and feature 21-inch alloys and a lowered ride height. Other styling changes include new headlight surrounds, bonnet louvers and stain-graphite detailing on the front grille.

Jaguar’s ride and handling chief engineer Mike Cross said: “The car is called the Goodwood Special XKR, and has been designed to explore the harder side of the XKR's character, and explore some of the performance boundaries.”

The XKR will take be taking part in the hillclimb event at the festival this weekend.
