Ford has added its Durashift automatic transmission to the Fiesta range.
The transmission will be mated to a 1.4-litre Duratec petrol engine and Ford has tweaked the throttle response to create a more sporty drive.

The automatic Fiesta gets from 0-62mph in 13.9secs, averages 43.4mpg and emits 154g/km of CO2.
Chris Muers, Ford Fiesta product manager, said: “Typically, around 10 per cent of small car buyers specify an auto option, so convenience technology is an important addition to a range that now offers an option for every taste and need.”
There will be three trim levels available - Style+, Zetec and Titanium – and prices start from £13195.
