Citroen: DS3 is just the start

Future Citroen models will be even more radical than the DS3 concept, according to the French car maker.
The Citroen DS3 will be the first of three DS models to go on sale, including the DS5, a bigger estate/grand tourer.

Chief designer Mark Lloyd told Autocar: “We can be more adventurous with the bigger models. Our normal models have to operate within a well-defined segment, but with the DS there's the opportunity for more individuality.”
The British designer also promised that DS4 and DS5, expected in 2011, would have an even greater attention to detail than the Mini-rivalling DS3.
The range-topping DS5 is expected to be heavily influenced by the Hypnos concept. It will also be one of the first Citroens to be powered by a diesel hybrid.
