Mitsubishi has unveiled the most powerful Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X to date, the FQ-400.
The car now has 403bhp and 387lb ft of torque, and will accelerate to 62mph in 3.8 seconds, and on to a limited top speed of 155mph.

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder has been fitted with motorsport spec high-flow fuel injectors and a new hybrid turbocharger.
The turbo itself features low-friction bearings, a high temperature turbine and strengthened thrust bearings to increase response and reduce turbo lag.
There is also an enhanced intercooler, while the exhaust’s gasses flow from the engine via a three-inch diameter high flow stainless steel piping and catalytic converter.
The FQ-400 gets a wider track and lowered suspension featuring Eibach springs and Bilstein shock absorbers. Lightweight 18-inch, nine-spoke alloy wheels come fitted with Toyo Proxes R1R tyres.
The brakes are now made of "aerospace grade" aluminium grabbed by high performance pads.
Visually Mitsubishi says the car is a nod to the Evo VI and there are a number of aerodynamic enhancements.
The trademark grille features carbonfibre elements in its leading edge and there are new front and rear bumpers.
The FQ-400 will be available next month at £49,999.
