Button takes Monaco F1 pole

Jenson Button took his fourth pole position of the season in a hectic qualifying session for the Monaco Grand Prix.

The championship leader charged to the top of the timesheets in his Brawn GP car on his final lap, deposing Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.

His fortunes contrasted with those of reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton, who crashed in Q1 and will start 16th.

Button's team-mate Rubens Barrichello will start third, with Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari's Felipe Massa fourth and fifth respectively.
