The retro open-cockpit Veritas RSIII will get its first public airing at London’s Salon Prive show.

The Veritas RSIII, inspired by 1940s BMW racers, is powered by a 473bhp V8 or a 592bhp V10, both sourced from BMW. Veritas claims the RSIII will accelerate to 60mph in around 3.0sec, and will top out at more than 200mph.

Only 50 Veritas RSIIIs will be produced, at a starting price for the most basic models of £245,000.

The Salon Prive, which run’s from 22-25 July at London’s Hurlingham Club, will also have the Aston-Martin One-77, Lotus Evora, Morgan Aero SuperSports and Maybach Zeppelin.

Tickets for the Salon Prive cost £125 for a one-day pass.
