This is the MG6 Concept, which will be displayed at this month's Shanghai motor show by the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC).
SAIC owns the rights to the MG brand, and the five-door liftback model is based on the underpinnings of the Roewe 550.

Details of the car remain sketchy, but it is already rumoured that the MG6 could be sold in Europe if it makes production.
Engines are likley to be identical to those offered in the Roewe 550, including a 1.8-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine.
