Schumacher’s ‘Ring ding?

We still don’t know quite what happened, but this fascinating sequence of pictures suggest that Michael Schumacher may well have crunched a Ferrari 430 during a testing day at the Nurburgring.
Spy photographers at the ‘Ring noticed a Ferrari 430 Scuderia being driven by the seven-times World Champion, and accompanied by his young son, Mick – who seemed to be enjoying some quick laps at the Nordschleife.
An hour later the track was closed because the same Ferrari 430 had crashed at Schwedenkreutz, being recovered on the back of a breakdown truck.
We don’t know if Schumi was driving at the time – and there’s no evidence that Mick was in the car when it got crunched. But we can imagine that Schumacher might have had a difficult conversation with his wife when he got home last night…
