Renault has announced that its new Renaultsport Twingo 133 will start from £11,500, with sales due to start in September and orders being taken from this July.
Offering 131bhp at 6750rpm and 118lb ft of torque from 4400rpm, the naturally aspirated, 1.6-litre Twingo will compete with the likes of the Mazda 2 Sport and Suzuki Swift, both of which offer less power.
Renaultsport fans will be pleased to note that you can order a Cup chassis for the hot Twingo. It will set you back a further £650 but includes a lowered ride height, stiffer springs and dampers, and 17-inch anthracite alloys.
Standard equipment includes ESP (which can be deactivated), 16-inch alloys, rear spoiler, leather steering wheel and Renaultsport front seats.
The first 133 people to order a Twingo Renaultsport will also get a free track day with tuition.
