Race of Champions will return to Wembley this December, for the second year in succession.

Michael Schumacher has signed up to the high-octane competition to take on a host of the world’s best drivers on a purpose-built track, which winds round the pitch at Wembley stadium.

Thousands of motorsport fans attended last year, and this December's event promises to be as successful.

After being beaten to the ‘Champion of Champions’ title at last year’s event, Schumacher will be determined to take victory in 2008. But the F1 legend said: “The great thing about The Race of Champions is that whether you win or lose it’s a lot of fun – all the drivers really enjoy themselves.”

DTM driver Mattiam Ekstrom, last year’s winner, and F1 driver Sebastian Vettel are both confirmed racers. The full rostrum will be announced later this year.

Organisers say the tickets will be cheaper than last year’s, with early-bird offers from £15 if booked before 31 July. Visit www.raceofchampions.com
