This is the 2009 Ford Focus RS, caught in leaked company pictures ahead of its London motor show debut six weeks from now.
The 300bhp hot hatch sports a bright green paint job, with black accents on the mirrors, spoilers, diffuser and the leading edge of the bonnet.
The Ford Focus RS will bring genuine 150mph performance and sub-6 sec 0-60mph acceleration when it goes on sale in Britain early next year.
The new RS will take the basic Focus ST elements of a 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive and develop them further with a new Quaife gearbox.
Entry price is likely to be below £25k and Ford hopes to sell between 5000 and 7000 Focus RS models per year.
