JAC has signalled its intent to muscle in on China’s booming small saloon market with its new Pininfarina styled creation, the JAC A138.
The new four-door comes with the choice of either a 93bhp 1.3-litre or 102bhp 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. A five-door hatchback version, called the A137, was also on display in Beijing. JAC sources hinted at European sales by late 2009.
