Eddie Jordan, former owner of the Jordan F1 team that was sold to Midland and is now called Force India, has blocked access to the team’s Silverstone factory over a pay dispute.
Jordan still owns some of the land surrounding the Force India headquarters and claims that he has never been paid for laying the access road across his land and allowing it to be used.
The Irish entrepreneur maintained, “I have no problem with (Force India co-owner) Vijay Mallya. It's the people who are managing the business who don't want to talk. I paid for the road and put it on my land. I had to make a stand.”
Staff are now using another entrance to the Force India building and currently there is no information on whether Jordan has received a response to his actions.
