The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, has broken cover in Geneva.

Boasting a new 5.2-litre V10 engine, permanent four-wheel drive and revised suspension the LP560 takes the already superb Gallardo to new levels.

The focus of the new car is its engine and it produces 552bhp and 398lb ft of torque, which is an increase of 32bhp and 23lb ft respectively. Despite the increased capacity, Lamborghini claims that fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been “reduced significantly”.

The new Lambo will be available as standard with the choice of manual or automatic gearboxes, with an optional six-speed sequential transmission also available.

Visually the baby Lambo looks aggressive with revised headlight clusters that feature so-called “daytime” running, reminiscent of the Audi R8. Tail-lights have been given the same treatment as the Reventon with a 'Y' shape LED light arrangement.

Inside, you’ll find niceties such as a multimedia system complete with USB connection, Bluetooth connectivity and a TV system.
