How easy is it to justify £34,000 for an Elise?
Expensive though it is, the Elise SC is also mightily effective. The supercharged 1.8-litre puts out 217bhp and 156lb ft of torque, propelling the 900kg Elise to 60mph in 4.4sec and on to 100mph in just 10.7sec.
But does the SC encroach on the hardcore Exige, or does it step neatly into the role of range-topping Elise?
