Citroen will reveal this five-seat MPV concept at the Bologna motor show later this week, and it's already confirmed for production in Europe.

The Nemo Concetto concept is based on the Citroen Nemo van, which will enter the commercial vehicle range in early 2008.

The compact, high-roofed MPV is actually shorter than a Ford Fiesta, which might make it perfect for the supermini-obsessed UK market. Unfortunately it may not go on sale over here for fear of affecting sales of the larger Berlingo Multispace.

The market for van-based cars in the UK is a small one – only 13,000 units were sold in 2006, and Citroen owns up to half of that segment with the popular Berlingo.

Not wanting to miss an obvious marketing opportunity, the Nemo Concetto concept comes with a Finding Nemo theme, which consists of Clown Fish paintwork and images of the Disney film’s characters on the seatbacks.

You may be relieved to find out that the fishy theme won’t make it to production models.
