Autocar columnist Chris Harris has been endurance racing again. This time, it wasn’t a sopping Nurburgring Nordschleife he was pounding around, but the home of British circuit racing, Silvertstone.
And this time out, our man faired much better than he had in Germany; Harris and his Paragon Motorsport co-drivers Mark Sumpter, Adrian Slater and Andrew Purdie drove their Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car to a class win, and a brilliant 3rd place overall. Watch our video of the race by clicking here.
Harris counted Top Gear TV personalities Richard Hammond, James May, Jeremy Clarkson and The Stig amongst his opponents, who finished a commendable 39th in their BMW 330d, five places behind the Apex Motorsport Jaguar XKR GT3 Cup car that Autocar regular Andrew Frankel co-drove.
