Here at Autocar, when we want to go sideways, all we need to do is give Steve Sutcliffe or Chris Harris the keys to a powerful rear-wheel drive car and stand well back (or, ideally, get a ride in the passenger seat).

But for some people there's more to it than that, as anyone who's been to Autocar's Sideways Challenge will testify. And now, along with special tyres and trick diffs you can get a special 'Drifting' steering wheel.

The eponymous Drifting steering wheel from Momo has apparently been designed specially to help drifting drivers control oversteer. It features a 90mm dish that allegedly makes for easier sideways action, and comes in either a 330mm 'racing' version or a 350mm 'tuning version'.

Sadly, however, it doesn't come preset with a quarter-turn of opposite lock, and it won't turn you into a drift-meister overnight.
