As if the 159 weren't good-looking enough to start with, Alfa Romeo's gone and given it the option of more bling.

The new 159 TI – that's Turismo Internazionale – comes with a body kit, lowered suspension, 19-inch alloys, red Brembo brake calipers and chrome-effect mirrors.

It looks just as good on the inside, too, with electric leather seats, sports dials, aluminium pedals and kick-plates and a leather wheel and gearknob. We think it looks great.

You can have your 159 TI with a 2.2 or 3.2 V6 petrol, or a 2.4 JTDM diesel, all with either manual or auto gearboxes. The V6 gets standard four-wheel drive, and it's an option on the diesel.

There's less choice when it comes to colours – you can have Alfa red, Stromboli grey or Carbonio black. TI models cost £750 more than the top-spec Lussos, so start at £23,400 for the four-cylinder petrol saloon, and rise to £31,750 for the V6 auto Sportwagon.
