Gordon Murray Design to expand

British design guru Gordon Murray’s eponymous firm will develop into a design, prototyping and development company thanks to funding from a US investor, MDV, and Caparo.
Murray, the creator of the McLaren F1 and one of the most influential F1 designers of the past 30 years, will offer his expertise both for automotive and other engineering applications.
Murray already works for Caparo as director of advanced concepts, where he is helping to realise the Formula One-influenced T1 sports car.
