When the doors of New York's Javits Centre open to the public tomorrow, thousands of show-goers will pour through them in search of a taste of one of America's up-and-coming motor expos. With a few billion litres of Atlantic sea water between us and them, and the usual Easter commitments to contend with, few Brits are likely to be among them.

However, Autocar's keen to ensure that you don't miss out. That's why we've collected our own shots of the hottest unveilings from the show, taken only yesterday by our intrepid journalists, and posted them all in our gallery for your perusal.

See genuine, road-going tarmac-tearers such as the Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Edition, Ford Mustang GT500KR and Honda S2000CR; also there are headline-making concepts like the Hyundai Genesis saloon, Infiniti EX crossover and the Chevrolet mini-car triplets; and global road car debuts of the new Subaru Impreza and Jeep Cherokee. All of them are pictured exactly as you'd see them on the stand, and all of them are worth a few moments to pore over.
