The next Matiz?

Contrary to what we first thought, this unusual-looking concoction isn’t the latest character for the sequel to the film Cars. It is, in fact, the new Chevrolet Trax concept, and could become the next Matiz.
The Trax is one of three city car concepts that will be unveiled at the New York motor show in April. The concepts were designed at GM’s design studio in South Korea, and are aimed at ‘young car buyers in urban markets’.
All three cars are based on GM’s ‘global mini architecture’, meaning they are more than just flights of fancy. Chevrolet insiders say it is highly likely that one of the cars will be made into the new Matiz, replacing the Italdesign original.
