Want the loutishly good new Corsa VXR but can’t afford the insurance? Vauxhall has some kind of an answer.
The Luton firm has just unleashed this VXR styling kit for the common or garden Corsa. For £1295 all in, you can have a front lower spoiler, rear roof spoiler, side sills and rear lower skirt fitted to your three- or five-door Corsa and sprayed body colour.
If you can’t stretch that far, Vauxhall will fit the roof spoiler alone for £269. A new range of Irmscher alloys is also on the way.
If you consider the VXR look too uncouth, you might like to consider the new Tigra Exclusiv Red. This incorrectly spelled special edition adds £1350-worth of options for no extra cost, including a red leather interior. The scarlet hide covers not only the seats but also the doors and handbrake.
The Exclusiv Red also gets special 17-inch alloys, and comes in a choice of Metro Blue, Star Silver and Black Sapphire. Engines are either a 1.4 or 1.8-litre petrol; prices start at £15,515.
