We've heard rumours that Geneva show-goers will be getting an advance look at Vauxhall's Vectra replacement next month, and GM Europe today teased us with a peek of the likeliest provider of that preview.

It has released one dark, largely uninformative artist's sketch of its Geneva show debut, which you can see above. The image simply shows a pair of door mirrors, an outline of the lower edge of a windscreen, and two lit headlight corners.

So do these elements belong to the next Vectra? They might, although you can be sure that Opel's Geneva concept won't be called that. The word is that it'll be a kind of Vectra coupe whose styling prefigures not just the Vectra replacement, but a whole family of Vauxhalls and Opels.

One source described it as 'Vauxhall's Iosis,' in reference to the bold Ford concept that appeared at Frankfurt in 2005, and prefigured Martin Smith's Kinetic design language.
