The world’s most famous kit car will celebrate its 50th birthday next year with some typically madcap racing at Donington Park.
More than 300 Caterham 7s from all over Europe will convene at the Leicestershire track on 2-3 June for a special Golden Jubilee meeting.
As well as events for the Eurocup & Masters cars, the Superlight Challenge, Roadsport and Roadsport B Challenges, the Academy and the three Caterham Graduates Club series, there will be open events for some of the 20 Caterham championships organised in 11 different export markets.
“The three October Caterham Festivals held since 2000 proved fantastically successful,” said Caterham’s director of motorsport, Magnus Laird. “We felt that a summer event for the 50th birthday was an excellent idea.”
