Proton has given its Impian four-door saloon a new look, both inside (dash, dials and, on the GSX only, leather seats) – and out (grille, rear light cluster and alloys).
To harness the Impian’s 110bhp 1.6-litre Campro engine, Proton-owned Lotus has done the dutiful thing and cast its seat of the pants over its suspension, while ABS, EBD (electronic brake distribution) and traction control are fitted as standard.
Prices range from the £10,595 for the GLS manual to £12,195 for the GSX auto, and all models get a three-year/60,000-mile warranty and three years' RAC cover.
